Schedule for 2008 (tentative)

May 29 Organizational meeting in Room 274 Overman Hall, Bowling Green State University, 1 PM.  Housing provided for the night.
May 30 Leave BGSU at 6:30 AM from loading area at east side of Overman Hall.
June 1 Arrive at KOA campground in Bernalillo, NM in early afternoon, set up camp.
June 2- 6 Measure Cretaceous section, map faulted and folded rocks near San Ysidro at junction of Basin & Range, Rocky Mountain, and Colorado Plateau provinces. Use of GPS for field navigation.
June 7-8 Travel to Jemez Mountains, NM. Field trip through Jemez volcanic center. Visit Bandelier National Monument and Bradbury Museum in Los Alamos.
June 9 Travel to Nathrop Colorado.  Visit Great Sand Dunes National Monument.
June 10-16 Map in Tertiary volcanic and Precambrian plutonic rocks in the Sawatch and Mosquito Mountains of the Central Rocky Mountain province.  GPS navigation and digital mapping.
June 17 Travel to Ft. Lewis College in Durango, CO. Examine volcanic rocks of northern Rio Grande rift and the San Juan Mountains.

June 18- July 1

Measure Paleozoic section in San Juan Mountains. Map in Precambrian and Paleozoic metamorphic, igneous and sedimentary rocks. Environmental and GIS projects.
July 2 Travel to Colorado Springs, CO via Silverton, Ouray, and the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park.
July 3 Vans leave for BGSU at 7 AM.
July 4 Return to BGSU by 7 PM.
